A Look-back: Relishing Mother’s Day & My Anniversary on the Same Week!

Using these loving works, Lucy(29) expressed her love and respect to her mother Martha (63) beautifully last year on Mother’s day- which coincidentally seemed to be the day of her wedding anniversary too!

Martha wasn’t well enough to be too excited, though in her smile, it was clear that she was happy with her daughter Lucy and her son Philip’s (26) gesture.

In honor of her mother, Lucy with her friends and siblings decided to arrange for a full-house Mustang hire package (consisting of 6 cars in total- 3 Mustang and 3 XY GT Falcons). The plan was to take mother and father, with the rest of the gang for a unique day out. Sydney is always full of beaches and national parks easily accessible using a Mustang.

Mom always love road trips and while cruising across the Sydney freeway and on reaching The Hunter’s Valley- Australia’s oldest wine region, her face lit up in ecstasy. After spending quality time there with mom and dad sipping some exotic wine, the next stop was the Royal Botanical garden.

Mom loves art exhibition and knowledge about therapeutic gardens, and so everyone decided to spend the most amount of time there. Lucy herself admits this unique family outing was worth it, not just for her mother, but because it also gave her to spend some lonesome time with Jake (her husband).

And finally with everyone drained or energy and hungry, the next stop was Sydney’s Circular Quay and the Rock District, which consists of vibrant bars, delectable restaurants with a breathtaking sight of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It’s one of Mom’s favourite places, especially during late evening when the sparkling lights of the harbour bridge creates quiet a spectacle.

Seeing all this, Mom couldn’t stop smiling, and that was when everyone knew that this Mother’s day celebration was a successful endeavour. And as everyone finished their meals- the chauffeur started the engine and took everyone home safe and sound.

Mom could not stop talking about how much she loved the outing. She was also all praise about the Mustang hire arrangement for Mother’s Day that lived up to its every promise.
